Jamie Goodison and J. Goodison Company have been a tremendous resource to The Friends of Sakonnet Lighthouse, Inc. in the maintenance of Sakonnet Lighthouse. The maintenance of a hard to reach off-shore lighthouse is not an easy task. The 70 foot tower of Sakonnet lighthouse has been topped by ocean waves 4 times (once in 1924 & 3 times in 1938). While painting the
lighthouse in 2003, Jamie noticed some structural deterioration and has been instrumental in planning for its repair. We are very grateful for the assistance and professionalism of Jamie and the J. Goodison Company.

Boston Towing and Transportation has a ten year working relationship with the J. Goodison Company. We have a 32 vessel floating fleet. Onsite project management at remote locations is very important to Boston Towing & Transportation. Reasonable cost effective suggestions are consistently made on our behalf. Our vessels come out of the yard looking great, on time, on budget and ready for long term durable use.
